In the August 1978 view Jim Almond is seen supervising a two-man gang of painters applying undercoat. The foreground is a grassy field and the 1930s-built swimming pool can be seen in the background. By 2011, a supermarket car park forms the foreground, and housing provides the backdrop.
To reveal the recent picture, simply move your screen pointer over the older image. To reveal the older picture, move your screen pointer away from the recent picture.
