Looking towards Minehead Station from the main line. The water tower dominates the nearest area in early 1978 and there is no signalling. By 2011 the water tower has been removed elsewhere and the carriage works occupies the area to the right. The change to the loop pointwork is evident and the whole layout is fully signalled.
