Vintage Carriages Trust
Museum of Rail Travel

Overview

Photo M.W. Cope

The Vintage Carriages Trust Museum of Rail Travel is situated at Ingrow on the A629 just south of Keighley. Much of the detail on this page has been gleaned from official material.

The Vintage Carriages Trust owns and maintains a fleet of nine historic railway carriages, three interesting small steam locomotives, two rail tank wagons and a unique collection of railway posters and other railway relics.

The Trust owns the Railway Carriage Museum and Workshop at the Ingrow Railway Centre on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, in which it displays the majority of its collection, other items being found elsewhere on the Railway or occasionally at different railway venues around the country.
